Voices of the Village
Through photography, video diaries, and recorded interviews, “Voices of the Village” will collect and share the lived experiences of rural residents impacted by UMF’s work. From mothers whose children no longer fall ill due to consumption of contaminated water, to girls re-enrolled in school, thanks to the Roots of Change program, each story will reflect the humanity and hope at the heart of our mission. A small media team will travel quarterly to UMF project sites to document real-time updates. These stories will be published on UMF’s website, social platforms, and in donor newsletters to inspire support, show transparency, and preserve the voices of those who are too often unheard. We believe storytelling is not just reporting — it is a form of empowerment.
